The roving came with my drop spindle kit. I spun it a long time ago and couldn't decide what to do with it. It had very little yardage, its a rough wool and its gauge varies quite a bit :-)
I was perusing Ravelry when I came across a simple slip stitch mini scarf. I started knitting it on the subway, on my way to Jersey Gardens Mall and finished it on my way back home. I'm wet blocking it now, another first for me. Oh, and I also got to do a felted join with the two small balls of yarn I made.
It looks really good and is longer than I thought it would be. I can't wait till its dry.
