Finished my drawstring bag. I used Finca Pearl Cotton N° 8 variegated thread for the tatted lace. I bought it from a discount bin and I only had the one roll. I ran out of thread, making the lace shorting than I had planned, but leading to this bag design. I used silk charmeuse with a lighter green silk satin lining. The cording is made with the same fabric. I padded the base, so its sturdy and holds it's shape. The bag is 8.5" high and 4" wide.

My mom was using this fabric for one of her customer's dresses. It happened to be the perfect color; a spring green. And there were enough scraps to make it make my bag.
