Some more playing around with tatting. This is adapted from a pattern in "A New Approach to tatting " by Yusai Shokoin. I used black 6-strand Embroidery Floss which created a nice sturdy motif.

I'm going to add them to the ends of a piece of chiffon to make a summer scarf.

They are gorgeous! The visual that a chiffon scarf presents w/ those tatted pieces of lace as scarf ends is just beautiful! I hope we get to see the real thing! :)

Very clever and rich looking. At first I thought it was a piece to put on both sides of a button/button hole.
