Back home

Reluctantly, I'm back in the swing of things.

My trip to Berlin was fantastic. Being around great people all holiday is quite uplifting. Its been a while since I've felt such optimism and excitement. It was a great way to start off the New year.

I did get a chance to visit Loops and La Laine yarn shops. Both were really nice with a great selection of yarns. I didn't buy anything though, the Euro to Dollar exchange was just too steep. So there wasn't much shopping going on. I did however buy a great hat at Helena Ahonen.

I started knitting a pair of Anemoi Mittens on the plane ride home. I'm using the Karabella Boise yarn. I'm also on the look out for yarn for "the holiday" sweater.
