Needle Book

Back in December I completed my first Russian Lace Ground. Today, that ground is now my much needed Needle Book. I carry an assortment of sewing needles and darning needles in my tatting bag. This finally replaces my folded piece paper that I was using.

Snaps hold it closed. I used a woven wool fabric. Its a comfortable size at 4"x 2.4"(closed). I sewed the lace down onto the fabric along the edge, and then used that stitch line as my guide to sewing the backing onto it.
